Hey everyone,

As you all know it's February the 14th, which means it's Valentine's Day Hooray!............
Not really.

For me, it's just another day (this year, a Tuesday) and it's WAAAY top over-commercialised!
Personally, it's a day of 'Let's-All-Buy-Crap-Because-We're-Pressured-Into-Buying-Crap-For-People-We-Love-But-Why-Because-If-You-Love-Someone-You-Shouldnt-Need-One-Day-In-The-Whole-Year-To-Express-It-And-Especially-Not-With-Stupid-Teddys-And-Flowers-And-Chocolate-It-Should-Be-Sponatenous-And-Whatever'.

I just think that there are 355 other days in which to express love for someone, and do to it with fake flowers and chocolates, which makes it feel tacky is just not the way.
Maybe it's because I'm single, maybe it's because I've grown older or maybe it's a combination of them both, but I genuinely feel that Valentine's Day is just simply another excuse to spend ridiculous amounts of money on something which doesn't need money thrown at it and something which is so very priceless; it's love.

So yeah, that's how I feel about it.

I'd just like to say a HUGE 'Good Luck' to all the students who have studied AS/A-Levels (or it's equivalent!) all around the world!

I hope that peace and unity become common and that the world can re-unite together and that we can all look back on our lives with happiness.
And I also hope that Muslims will not be discriminated against, and that people will not fear or mis-judge Muslims just because of the actions of a few insane dangerous individuals.
I hope France will lift the ban on Hijabs and religious artefacts!
It's people's prerogative as to which religion they choose and I believe France is being un-just to Islam and religions in general.
